Graduation

Congratulations are in order! You've reached the end of our online forex training.

graduationIf you've gone through our training material diligently you now have all the background information you need to follow our strategy. You should consider our forex trading education material a source of reference to which you may want to return from time to time.

Remember our original objective. We did not set out to teach you everything there is to know about forex trading. That would be futile. We set out to teach you everything you need to know to trade profitably.

Forex education is merely a means to an end. The end is to make money.

Now that you've graduated, you need to identify a strategy that will become the vehicle that will drive you to your ultimate goal of trading profitably.

There are many strategies out there in forex land. Hunting for a consistently profitable strategy is in itself a full-time job that doesn't always pay. Most traders move from strategy to strategy and many never stop looking for the 'right' strategy. These traders are like hungry fishermen who keep releasing their catch in hopes of catching bigger fish. Those fishers most likely starve to death.

Before you settle on a strategy you must put it through a rigorous process:

• First, you have to believe in the process by which the system generates       trade signals.
• Second, you must back-test the strategy. In today's modern world of software, there's no    excuse not to run all the back data you can through    your system and see what the      results    would have been. Although    back-  testing is no proof of future performance, at    least you    can see the    logic of your system at work.
•  Third, demo-trade your strategy.
•  Finally, test your strategy 'live'.

Bottom line: if you don't have TOTAL CONFIDENCE in your strategy before you start trading it, you will doubt your strategy's ability to see you through a losing streak.

Questioning your strategy and its validity while you are trading will spell doom.

All your questioning must be done in the 'pick a strategy' stage.

When the trading day is over, you should be reviewing your trades. but not your strategy. You need to ask yourself:

• Did I follow my strategy correctly?
• Did I weaken in my resolve to follow my strategy?
• How can I (not my strategy) improve?

This is the process we went through in arriving at our forex trading strategy.

It will serve you well to adopt a similar approach with the strategy that we present to you, or with any other strategy that you consider adopting.

And remember, before you risk a cent of your hard-earned money demo-trade for at least a month.

Practice strict discipline as you demo trade.

'Go live' only after you've shown consistent profitability on your demo account.

Congrats again and happy trading!
